Giorgia's story makes us understand how much it is possible to cultivate one's dreams despite the difficulties that life places on our path. This beautiful girl has a great passion: artistic gymnastics, which she starts practicing at the age of five. He spends several hours in the gym working out, but even when he is at home he constantly practices with wheels and splits. Unfortunately, a few years ago she began to experience pain in her right leg, so her mother forced her to train more lightly. But in the spring of 2014 the pain returns in a more acute form and Giorgia is thus subjected to a biopsy with a shocking outcome: osteosarcoma, or bone cancer! Long months of suffering and treatment begin, then, in August, the histological outcome of the conservative intervention does not give a way out. The only solution that gives her a rather high percentage of life is to amputate her leg. Despite this, Giorgia's concern is not the intervention but the fact that she can no longer continue her career as a gymnast. From that moment he returns to training in the gym with a controlled and softer program than the previous one. Giorgia has no intention of stopping here, on the contrary she is determined to return to compete in the competitive group. Will he? We have no doubts and look forward to cheering for her at the Olympic Games!
