Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide and transfer to Calstefidardo. The village stands on a hill 212 meters above the sea, between the valleys of the Aspio and Musone rivers.
Perhaps few know that here, on the 16th of September 1860, one of the most important battles-which led to the italy unification- took place here; this event is remembered in various places, such as mainly the Monumento, a fresh forest, also suitable for a pedestrian or cycling path, which inside hides a bronze complex celebrating the battle led by General Cialdini; little outside the center there is also the ossuary and the Selva, another meeting place for armies.
The center of the village is an ancient medieval village, peculiar for its narrow alleys and brick houses; along the course, starting from the Palazzo Comunale, you get to Porta Marina, a recently renovated square overlooking the sea.
One of the excellences of the inhabited center is the International Accordion Museum, which represents excellence in the national and international panorama, also on the basis of a consolidated tradition that sees the Marche region occupying a relevant position in the production of this suggestive musical instrument.
Visit to the accordion museum.
The museum, built in 1981, is housed in a floor of the sixteenth-century municipal building and collects organs, accordions and other musical instruments
The collection is divided into several sections: the main section is made up of one hundred and forty-seven accordions, built between 1840 and 1968, many of which are fully functional. Finally, there are three sections dedicated to thematic collections: the music in the coins, the accordion in the iconography and the accordion in the stamp.
The visit will end with a musical performance.
After a relaxing walk in the town center, transfer to the Garofoli farm where a "blind" tasting will be proposed
A game to have fun regaining your dozing senses. Four wines in a "blind" tasting, playing with the sense of smell and taste trying to recognize perfumes and aromas.
A journey between tradition and sensoriality
The experience at the Garofoli Winery is an adventure that will make you relive more than a century of history of the Garofoli family and of the Marche winegrowing.
A story made of men and women who have been producing wine for five generations, with love, passion and dedication to their territory and their origins.
