Come and discover the wonders of Abu Dhabi and Dubai without barriers! A city made of skyscrapers, artificial gardens and malls emerges from the desert dunes of the United Arab Emirates. Dubai, the Manhattan of the Middle East, is the most intriguing destination of the moment. Once Dubai was a quiet city of houses with courtyards in chalk and coral built by Persian merchants and palm leaf huts, a refuge for Bedouin fishermen and pearl seekers. Today, sparkling new skyscrapers reflect the image of mosques and dominate old Dubai. The most renowned architects compete to build and furnish VIP palaces and villas. Inside this city there are a thousand contrasts: mountain ranges, beaches, oases, colorful and crowded markets, hotels and clubs of immense luxury. Modernity and tradition coexist in perfect harmony, between the routes of the Bedouin groups and the boldest architecture.
In this itinerary, we will also visit Abu Dhabi. Capital of the United Arab Emirates, it is the seat of the president and headquarters of embassies, oil companies and international companies. It is one of the youngest nations in the world, yet born from an ancient past. Less than a century ago it was a fishing and pearl gathering station, dotted with makeshift shelters made with palm trees. Today it is a lush city with glass skyscrapers from Guinness World Record, large tree-lined avenues and long public beaches. Everything is out of measure: there is the most crooked tower in the world, the largest handmade carpet in the world, the largest amusement park in the world.

Breakfast. In this whole day we will discover Dubai: a unique and spectacular metropolis. This city has developed from a small fishing port in the bay of Dubai and has become in less than 30 years one of the most important cities in the Arabian Gulf. The day will begin with different photo stops in the modern city: the Jumeirah mosque built in the medieval Fatimidic tradition, the Burj Al Arab hotel in the shape of a giant sail. Continue on the Jumeirah Road towards the artificial island known as The Palm until reaching the Atlantis hotel, where a photo stop is scheduled. Return to Monorail, from which you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic visit of The Palm, the Jumeirah coast and the Dubai skyline.
Afterward, discover Bastakya, an old 19th-century district located along the creek, with its sophisticated residences with rough and bare walls to protect the intimacy of the wealthy families who typically live in this neighborhood. We will see the wind towers rise above the walls capturing the wind to direct it inside the houses, in order to creating effective air conditioning. Visit of the museum, located in the old fortress of Al Fahidi. We will cross the Creek onboard the local water taxis (Abra) to arrive in the Deira district and discover the souks of spices and gold. Lunch in a local restaurant. Afterward, visit the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, with its 828 meters. The tour will begin on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall and a multimedia presentation will accompany you throughout the journey up to the 124th floor. It continues with a visit to the Dubai Mall. Stop in front of the impressive aquarium. In the evening, at the end of the visit to Burj Khalifa, free time to attend the incredible show of the dancing fountains (shows every 30 'from 18:00 lasting about 2-5-minutes each). At the end of the show, transfer for a dinner onboard a Dhow (traditional boat) departing from the Marina. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a cruise (lasting about 2 hours) in the heart of Dubai's "Manhattan". You will be able to admire the famous illuminated skyscrapers, the splendid architecture of the luxury international hotels, the residences of Jumeirah Beach and "The Palm Island "with the Atlantis hotel. Return to the hotel for overnight.
After breakfast, departure for Abu Dhabi, the capital of the homonymous Emirate and the United Arab Emirates and one of the most modern cities in the Persian Gulf. We will visit the Sheikh Zayed mosque, the largest in the Emirates, and the Al Husn Palace, the oldest building in the city (only from the outside). Lunch in a local restaurant. Continuing along the Corniche you will pass in front of the Emirates Palace, one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. Afterward, visit of Saadiyat Island: photo stop at the Heritage Village to admire the wonderful sea view. Continue to the Exhibition Center Al Manarat where the permanent exhibition "The history of Saadiyat" is located. The latter interactively tells the story of the country and the many plans for the future of the island. Here there are also the models of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, the famous Guggenheim museum in Abu Dhabi and the Maritime Museum, which will be built in the coming years. Four of the most famous architects in the world (Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel, Tadao Ando and Zaha Hadid) presented their plans for the construction of museums (Louvre and Guggenheim) and of a Performing Arts Center, which will make Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi one of the most important cultural destinations in the world. Following, a small panoramic tour of the island of Yas which hosts the Formula 1 circuit (you will see "Ferrari World"). Return to Dubai. Overnight at the hotel.
ABU DHABI
It is said that the foundation of Abu Dhabi, whose meaning in Arabic is "father of the gazelle", is due to an antelope who led a migrant tribe to a source of fresh water on an island with no more than 300 huts of palm tree ("barasti"), some coral structures and the fort of the housekeeper. The original settlement on this island was later converted into the modern, cosmopolitan city and capital of the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi. Places not to be missed: the Corniche, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Oasis City of Al Ain and the Ferrari World of Abu Dhabi.
