In this itinerary we will take you to the discovery of the most exotic country you could ever visit. Indonesia, with its 18.000 islands, has a diversity of culture, with more than 900 tribes and languages and food. This itinerary will allow us to get to know Bali with its Ubud cultural center, to experience its energizing nature, and end with a seaside stay in the relaxing beaches of Nusa Dua or Benoa.

Arrival at Ngurah Rai international airport - Bali, welcomed by our English speaking guide and then transfer to Ubud, a small cultural and artistic capital located in the south center of the island.
Check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day is free to rest after the long journey .

After having breakfast at the hotel, departure from the hotel to discover the secrets of Balinese herbal medicine with an in-depth half-day tour based on medicinal herbs. Walk to discover the flora of Ubud. In fact, we will move to the Ubud countryside where an expert herbalist will await us for an educational walk through rice fields and ravines, gardens and forests. Here we will stop to see the abundant selection of herbs that grow in the area such as hibiscus, vanilla, patchouli, turmeric and lemongrass. The herbalist will explain how these ingredients are used in traditional medicine, both for internal use and for topical application. Our herbalist will also explain the Bali cleansing practices that are often done in combination with herbal healing treatments.
then we will be in the luxuriant nature of this wonderful country, it's time for lunch. in order to be healthy , we will enjoy a delicious meal in one of Bali's organic restaurants.
After having lunch, return to the hotel and free afternoon.

we will have breakfast at the hotel. Then we will go into the discovery of the beauties of Ubud, the cultural center of Bali. Painting and textile art, traditional stone and wood sculptures and silver crafts are the arts for which the city is famous. We will visit the sacred monkey monastery, a protected but accesible forest area where many monkeys live. In addition, the park is home to three ancient Hindu temples, beautiful statues covered with a lush jungle.
After the excursion we will move on foot towards Hanoman Street to a local community market to learn how to make unique Balinese offerings called Canang Sari , which are an integral part of Balinese life and their gratitude to the Gods:
The canang sari is one of the daily offerings made by the Balinese Hindus to thank the Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, it consists of a tray of palm leaves where some leaves of betel, lime, gamber, prestige, tobacco and walnuts are placed in the center. Above these are placed 4 flowers arranged in a specific direction. Each direction symbolizes a Hindu god. The canang is completed by placing above the canang a quantity of kepeng (the coin) or paper money, which is said to constitute the essence (the "sari") of the offering.
After a break with a refreshing coconut, a healthy walk in Ubud's lively art market awaits us with colorful stalls full of handicrafts and fabrics, frequented by friendly people, here we could take advantage of buying unique souvenirs.
Just beyond the market, there is the house of Gusti Nyoman Lempad, Ubud painter and architect. Together with other famous people of the Bali art scene, he formed Pita Maha, a group of inspiring artists founded in 1936. He built many of the palaces and temples of Ubud and neighboring villages. His grandson I Gusti Gede Udayana is often at home ,he will be happy to share his grandfather's stories.
We will then move for dinner to a typical Indonesian restaurant, where we could taste a typical Balinese dish, its name is Babi Guling's unique marinade, literally suckling pig.
At the end of the dinner a relaxing foot massage will await us.

It is time to refresh the body and soul on this day. The whole day is dedicated to discovering the Balinese culture and practices. We will discover the mystical Balinese culture from a village priest and astrologer and receive a private blessing.
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will leave with a guide and driver for a short drive to the village of Mas. This small village is located about 15 km from the center of Ubud and is known for its ancient tradition of wood carving. This ability is passed down from generation to generation, perfecting and recreating styles over the decades.
First, we will meet the priest and the village astrologer to learn about fate using ancient and mysterious methods through the translations of the local guide. Immediately after the reading, we will receive a private blessing from the priest
After the blessing, we will prepare for the following special experience: an authentic 90-minute Balinese massage in a private tent near the Ayung River. Get ready to take a deep breath, relax and enjoy the fresh Ubud air with the sounds of nature that envelop both the body and the soul.
After the massage and shower, it's time to enjoy a delicious 3-course packed lunch along the river which has been carefully prepared by the chef.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon, free dinner and subsequent overnight stay
After having breakfast, departure from the hotel with a local guide for an eco-inspired day.
Let's start with a visit to the John Hardy showroom and laboratory. Visit the 400-acres site, admiring various buildings made of low-impact materials such as bamboo, adobe and straw.
During the ecotourism tour, we will discover how the John Hardy Company aims to preserve the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Bali, in fact we will visit Green Village, a unique ecological community of eighteen bamboo houses. Here we will meet a passionate environmentalist for a tour of the village, to discover the unique design and sustainable principles of the structures.
At noon, we will enjoy a healthy organic meal served in the Green Village.
In the afternoon we will continue our journey with a visit to the bamboo factory. This extraordinary reality combines innovative technology and traditional natural materials to create sustainable structures and an ecological landscape.
The tour continues with a visit to an organic chocolate farm to find out how chocolate is made. The tour begins with an extraordinary chocolate "welcome drink". The we will visit a the factory ,there we will discover every phase of the chocolate production process from the cocoa tree to the raw cocoa, fermentation and roasting of the beans and final transformation into delicious chocolate.
We will taste raw cocoa, cocoa nibs and handmade Bali chocolate before preparing our chocolate elephants to take home.
Return to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, then we will meet Mr. Agus in an outdoor ceramic studio in the green of Ubud.
We will pass by the ovens and see all the beautiful ceramic pieces of different artists kept in the studio of Mr. Agus. We will sit with him and learn to transform ideas into clay, applying different techniques such as throwing wheels, manual construction, glass and fire. After spending the morning creatively, we will continue our excursion on the island by going to the village of Petulu, where with a bit of luck you will spot some white herons; Here a lunch with local products will await us.
After having lunch, transfer to Nusa dua and check-in at the hotel.

Optional excursion - Kecak dance & seafood dinner in Jimbaran
Departure in the afternoon for the Uluwatu Temple, one of the most impressive temples in Bali. Perched on the edge of a steep cliff, the sacred Uluwatu is the perfect place to watch the sunset. As the sun projects its last rays across the ocean, a dramatic representation of the Kecak dance begins at the temple. Stay mesmerized while the locals dance and sing the accompanying music, a spectacular show to experience.
We will enjoy this memorable day in Bali with a grilled fish dinner; we will head towards Jimbaran beach to one of the best local restaurants on the island to savor a freshly caught fish dish while having dinner under the stars.
After trying the best of southern Bali, we will return to the hotel or for those who want, you can go to one of the most famous bars in the area for an evening drink.
