The itinerary offers some of the country’s best-known attractions: the capital Bangkok, Chiang Mai the cultural capital of the north, a must-see landmark for anyone visiting Thailand; the Golden Triangle and Chiang Rai, the geographical point that marks the border between Thailand, Laos and Burma, once a strategic place known for the opium trade between smugglers, to finish off the stay on the beaches of Phuket.

Arrival in Bangkok early in the morning, handling of the bureaucratic formalities and transfer to the hotel. Free lunch. Afternoon dedicated to the private visit of the city, Visit of the Royal Grand Palace which will also include the famous Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) The visitable part of the Royal Grand Palace includes the main buildings that are located inside: the Montien Palace, the Chakri Palace and the Dusit Palace. Of these, the Chakri Palace can only be visited externally. Dusit and Montien can also occasionally be visited inside (not guaranteed every day - suspended at certain times of the year). Free dinner and overnight stay in the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.
We will have breakfast at the hotel ,then departure for Ayuttaya, 70 km from Bangkok, where the famous ruins that made up the capital of the Siam kings for over four hundred years are found, from the fourteenth to the eighteenth century. Visit the Wat Sri Samphet temple, the temple of the ancient Royal palace consisting of 3 gigantic bell-shaped pagodas, then the adjacent Wat Mongkhon Bophit, a temple inside which there is a statue of the Buddha in a sitting position of gigantic dimensions. Transfer to the nearby town of Bang Pa In and visit to the famous summer residence of the Royal family. Return to the hotel. Free dinner and overnight.
We will have breakfast at the hotel ,then we will transfer to the airport for the flight to Chiang Rai. Meet our guide and transfer to visit The Black House, a collection of almost 40 houses and the proud work of Thawan Duchanee, the illustrious national artist of Thailand. Born in Chiang Rai, the Thai artist developed a work style that represents the darkness of humanity with many red and black shades, skins, skulls and various other parts of animals transformed into mysterious works of art. The Black House is an architectural cosmology of the philosophy of Thawan and a museum for his love for the dazzling and macabre. Transfer to the Union of hill tribe villages and Longneck Karen to discover the lifestyle of the hill tribes through 5 villages, Akha, Yao (Lu Mien), Lahu, Kayaw and Long Neck Karen. Lunch in a local restaurant. Then, proceed with the observation of the local market area of Chiang Rai. Continue for a short visit to Wat Rong Suea Ten (or called The Blue Temple), the whole area is quite colorful, which attracts many tourists. All architectures are decorated in many tones of colors, for example blue, golden, orange, green, etc. The most remarkable part of the temple is the Ubosot. This chapel is the most famous, since it was recently built in a contemporary Thai style and has such an amazing aspect. The work belongs to Phuttha Kabkaew, a former student of the famous artist Chalermchai Kositpipat who designed The White Temple. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast and departure at 07.00 to visit the Golden Triangle, where the rivers Sop Ruak and Mekong create a natural border between Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. At the first stop visit the House of Opium, where various dark stories of this beautiful and rich region in northern Thailand are exhibited. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Wat Rong Khun (or called White Temple) which was designed and built by the famous artist Chalermchai Kositpipat in 1997. The journey continues to Chiang Mai, once the capital of the Kingdom of Lanna (1296-1768) which later on became the kingdom of Chiang Mai from 1774 to 1939. Arrival in Chiang Mai in the late afternoon. Hotel accomodation and overnight.
We will have breakfast, then departure around 7 a.m. to visit the Elephant Camp to see an Elephant Show (the experience on the elephant is optional). Continue to the orchid nursery and lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, visit Wat Phra Singh (Lion Buddha Temple), one of the most beautiful classic Lanna-style architecture in northern Thailand, where it houses a highly revered Buddha image called Phra Sing Buddha. In the evening, leave the hotel for a typical Lanna-style Kan-Tok dinner with traditional Thai shows. Return to the hotel and overnight.
We will have breakfast,then departure for the visit of Doi Suthep (1676 m. AMSL), the landmark of Chiang Mai, where the splendid pagoda of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is located, built in 1383 during the reign of King "Kue - Na ". From the top of Doi Suthep, you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the city of Chiang Mai. Afterward, transfer to Chiang Mai airport in time to board the flight to Pukhet, direct or via Bangkok. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free dinner. Overnight.
