Venice, world-famous for its beauty , but most of all for its particularity: this water city is justs waiting for you to be discovered. we propose an itinerary adapted to your needs, to make you discover this masterpiece of a unique city of its kind. The guide will take you to the most famous points of Venice, such as Piazza San Marco, Grand Canal, Frari, but there will also be the opportunity to visit the oldest gondola workshop.
Independent arrival at the hotel *. Accommodation in an accessible standard room with breakfast.
* Carnival Palace - reachable by vaporetto 5.2 goes from Piazzale Roma to Tre Archi (10 meters from the stop)
* Santa Chiara: alternatively, a stay at the Santa Chiara hotel, located in Santa Croce, has parking for cars, the hotel offers a solution in a double room with French bed (140x200 cm) and an accessible single room
Depending on the arrival time, it is possible to start excursions by choosing from the following two options (about 3 hours of excursion, to which the times to reach the starting points of the excursion from the hotel must be added)
1st option
Meeting with the guide at the hotel and start of the excursion: tour in the San Marco district and Grand Canal: the guide will take you through the history of the city with the external explanation of the buildings in the Piazza and then continue by vaporetto with line 1 to in Rialto, admiring the splendid palaces overlooking the Grand Canal; from here you can go to see the beautiful Scala Contarini del Bovolo. Return to the hotel on your own.
2nd option
Meeting with the guide to reach the Gallerie dell'Accademia from where the guided tour begins (unfortunately not accessible to motor disabilities) visit of the squero di San Trovaso (admission fee starting from 30 euros per person), the oldest workshop in where gondolas are still built today and from here to the Zattere, from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the Giudecca Canal with its interesting buildings, including the church of the Redentore di Palladio and the Mulino Stucky, nearby you can also enjoy the famous Gianduiotto in da Nico's ice cream shop. From the Accademia, you can also continue by vaporetto to Ca 'Rezzonico, a splendid building overlooking the Grand Canal that houses the 18th century museum. Arriving by vaporetto, there is still a bridge to cross to reach the museum entrance. Return to the hotel by yourself.
Breakfast and meeting with the guide at your hotel, the whole morning is dedicated to visiting the Doge's Palace, Basilica and Piazza. The Doge's Palace is equipped with a lift and, with the exception of the Prisons and the Bridge of Sighs, which we can show externally from the Ponte della Paglia which is equipped with a ramp, all the other parts can be visited. As for the Basilica, in this period, due to floor restorations, the Basilica cannot be visited, you can only access the loggia and outdoor terrace, not recommended for people with motor disabilities due to the presence of numerous steps and narrow passages. (* important note: As soon as the Basilica reopens, probably not before the end of 2020, the basilica will be accessible again for people with motor disabilities by entering the Porta dei Fiori and also the visit to the treasury)

Frari and San Rocco: starting from Piazzale Roma or from any other point of the Grand Canal with the vaporetto you go down to San Tomà to visit the splendid church of the Frari with the masterpieces of Tiziano, Bellini and much more and also the Scuola di San Rocco with the splendid canvases by Tintoretto with the stories of the Old and New Testament. The Scuola di San Rocco has no lift but is equipped with a squirrel; accessibility depends on the type of visitor's wheelchair; sports wheelchairs, cannot be loaded on the squirrel; the school also has its own wheelchair, so people with disabiliets can move, even in the case of a sports wheelchair, the obstacle can be overcome (about 2 hours of excursion, to which the times to reach the starting points must be added excursion from the hotel)

With a supplement, the following excursions can be included in the program:
1.Tour to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. You can choose to visit all 3 islands or just 2. This tour can be done by public transport or by taxi equipped with a platform. Costs and duration depend on the vehicle and the islands chosen, therefore to be verified from time to time based on the customer’s requests.
2. Boat tour by taxi along the Grand Canal and small canals, in particular through the Cannaregio and Castello districts, with the possibility of stops for visits to churches such as Frari, Madonna dell’Orto, San Giorgio and San Giovanni e Paolo. Possibility of visiting the Jewish Ghetto area externally. The duration and cost depend on the chosen itinerary.
